DR. SONJA WATSON

Arlington Chapter President

Dr. Sonja Watson is President of the Arlington Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She has been a member of the Arlington Chapter since 2009 and is wife to Jermaine Watson, Esq. and mother of Solomon and Samson. As a member of the Arlington Chapter, she has served as Vice President, Program Director, Community Service Chair and grade group sponsor to various grade groups. Dr. Watson earned a doctorate in Spanish from the University of Tennessee and is a Professor of Afro-Latin American Literature and Culture.

DR. ALVA ROCHE-GREEN

Health Committee Chair

Gina was born and raised in Ft. Worth where she attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of North Texas and a Master’s degree from University of North Texas Dallas.

Gina is the wife of Raam Stevenson Sr and mother of Raven, Raam Jr and Rachel. Gina  currently serves as Protocol Chair. Gina has served the Mansfield ISD community for 21 years where she currently serves as a Special Education Coordinator. She has worked as an Adjunct Professor at both UNT Dallas and Tarrant County College. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and a Black Doll Ambassador where she leads and lives a Philanthropic life.

HONORABLE STACEY WHITE

Parliamentarian

Stacey White is the Parliamentarian and Bylaws Chair for the Arlington Chapter and also serves on the South Central Region’s Legislative Committee. Stacey has previously served as Chapter Program Director, Chapter Legislative Chair, and Co-Chair for the 2023 South Central Region Teen Conference.

Stacey is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and also received a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction  from DePaul University and a Juris Doctor from University of Illinois. Stacey currently serves as a Lead Administrative Patent Judge for the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

She is married to Paul White II, and they are the proud parents of two children – Tyson and Pierce White.

Jonikka Davis is a proud member of Jack and Jill Arlington Chapter.  She currently serves in the capacity of Chaplain.

Tanaya is currently the Historian for the program year 22-24. She is from Lancaster, TX.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Tennessee college of Dentistry. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is married to Alix H. Sanders, DDS and has an awesome 13 year old daughter named Taylor.

GINA STEVENSON

Protocol Chair

Alva Roche-Green, MD is the Medical Director of the Palliative Care team at Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas.  She has been a member of Jack and Jill since 2015 being initiated into the Jacksonville Florida chapter. She was also a member of the Northern Virginia tractor prior to moving to Arlington in 2022.

In the Arlington chapter, she is chair of a health committee in addition to being a member of the audit committee, community service committee, and Five Star committee. She is the mother of two boys and is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

SHAWAN HAGAN-COLE

Chief of Staff for RD

Shawan has been a member of the Awesome Arlington Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc. since 2021. She has made a great impact during her tenure serving as Chapter Legislative Chair, Co-Lead Teen Sponsor, and Nominating Committee member..

Shawan holds a MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. She has been a Healthcare Revenue Cycle professional for over 20 years and currently serves as the Sr. Director of Middle Revenue Cycle for Ascension Healthcare.Shawan is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., serving in multiple roles at every level of the organization for 27 years. Bethlehem Baptist Church of Mansfield, TX is her church home where she is the President of the Mass & Women’s choirs. Shawan is also an administrator for the Black Mansfield Moms Facebook group focusing on advocacy in the community. She has been married to Antonio Cole for 7 years and is the mother of teen Jack, Tayejon Thomas.

DANA CROSSLIN-IBEH

Technology Chair

Dana Crosslin-Ibeh has been a member of Jack and Jill Arlington Chapter since 2013 and has been serving in the capacity of Technology Chair for over 10 years.  She holds a B.S in Management Information Systems from UT Arlington as well, as a M..S in Software Engineering from UT Dallas.

She is a Senior Engineer in the Software Development realm in Digital Banking Services.  She is married to Uche Ibeh who is also a fellow Engineer.  She has 3 amazing children:  De’Terian who graduated out of Jack and Jill in 2019, and Gabby and Jimmy who are currently members of the Jack & Jill Arlington Chapter.

KRISTEN STRICKLAND

Social Media Chair

Chair Kristen Strickland became a Legacy Mother Member of the Awesome Arlington Chapter in 2020. Strickland was appointed the Arlington Chapter’s Social Media Chair. She successfully established the chapter’s first Instagram and Twitter pages. She also served as Chair of the 23rd Annual Beautillion in 2022 and Co-Chair on the Host Night Committee for the South Central Region Teen Conference in 2023.

Chair Strickland is the mother of two amazing boys who are her pride and joy. She has served in the field of Education as a History Teacher, Instructional Leader,  and Assistant Principal for the past 9 years.
