I am Eddilisa Martin and I’ve been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since 2010. I was born and raised in Little Rock, AR where I graduated from the historic Little Rock Central High. My most important jobs are being a mother to my three children Mitchell (11), Hope (13), and Brandon (29); and a wife to my husband of 14 years, Marcus Martin. But since I’m not independently wealthy I did choose to pursue a profession in the field of pharmacy in which I’ve been practicing for over 20 years. I hold degrees from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy where I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. I’ve done many things in the profession of pharmacy but I currently work for AbbVie which is a large pharmaceutical manufacturer where I primarily provide clinical information to people in the insurance industry and other payers like state Medicaid. My dream career, however, would be a jingle singer! From that it is probably obvious that I love singing. To me a jingle singer would be the perfect opportunity to sing professionally and not have to tour which might be hard on a family. My husband, Marcus, is a graduate of Howard University where he earned his Ph.D. He currently runs his own company, 2M Research Services, LLC, and I help out administratively. Our family attends Community of Hope United Methodist Church in Mansfield where I sing on the praise team. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and my hobbies include singing, hanging out with neighbors and friends, going to the movies with my family, and surfing the internet.
